Several investor clients moved over from another property management company after having a frustrating experience, and PUPM has really provided the level of communication and service they were looking for. Amy has been great to work with; she’s responsive, organized, and clearly cares about both her clients and the properties she manages. I appreciate working with someone who is dependable, honest, and on top of things.

PUPM is a great company and everyone at Canes Construction loves working with them. The maintenance coordinator Neonna is always so helpful and kind.

UPDATE: they keep coming by in announced. AND IT IS ILLEAGL- YOU HAVE TO GIVE 24 HOUR NOTICE They toured the upstairs without letting me know so i have a bunch of people walking through my front door WITHOUT BEING TOLD YET AGAIN!!!! You need to inform you tenants if they are showing the property Good luck getting proper communication from this company. Seems like reviews are the only way the higher ups will listen. They’ve shutdown power to my house without letting us know. We were told by amy that they would give us a gift card reimbursing us for the groceries and that never happened. We live in a two story duplex and their people will just drop on by without letting us know. So these random people who have keys to our house show up and come and go as they please. I was taking a nap and i was woken up with my houses back door being bursted open of some guy going upstairs. Nobody let me know, my dogs are going crazy, and I think someone just broke into my house. Turns out that he’s from progressive to look upstairs….shocker… now i have to wait till he leaves to go to work because i already don’t feel safe leaving things locked when he’s here…. The only good thing is the 3rd contractor company they use to repair things in this house. Shawn and his team are the only ones that properly communicate with me the if they are going to be here. AND THEY ARENT EVEN APART OF THIS COMPANY!

Faye was really good with responding to my work order and sent someone out in a reasonable time frame. Steve the technician came and check out my furnace and was very helpful with getting it fixed. He even took the time to listen to other concerns I had about my furnace.

Shower wouldn't shut off, and was getting worried. Bob drove out from Shaker right away to fix it

Manager jam reached out to me about some recent repair repairs that I had done in my apartment by technician Bob, who is awesome. He always comes in a timely manner. He’s always polite and so is jam. I would recommend renting from this property. They are awesome and timely when it comes to Maintenance issues and checking on you to make sure that everything was up to your standards. Thank you to Bob and jam for making my stay here comfortable

This may be the easiest property management company to get things done with putting in repair request is as simple as using an app and Bob shows up to your house with urgency repairs are done quickly but efficiently and Jam double checks to make sure you're satisfied with everything and that everything was done correctly to say I'm happy is an understatement.

Though I've only been with them for a short time the two instances I've had to make a request Faye handled them in a very timely manner

Progressive Urban Property Management is a delight to work with. They always answer my calls, and they always know what's going on. Neonna is who I work with, and I wouldn't want to work with anyone else. She is the best!!!! She is the reason why I gave 5 stars.

Have had nothing but exceptional service and continued communication with Progressive Urban Property Management. They have been great to work with. I've had the pleasure of working with Neonna for the past few months. She is wonderful! I can always count on her to be available to speak with whenever I have a question and she always knows what's going on. PUPM is very lucky to have her!

Property owners beware! They charge a reasonable 8% of rents collected but make most of their $ on astronomical fees for maitenence and repairs. I was quoted over 4k to patch an area on the roof that was leaking. I used a previous contractor that I dealt with who only charged me $750. They also quoted $315 to clean a small apt and I can have a larger house cleaned in NY for only $200. Various other crazy prices to make units rent ready. We are so relieved we didn’t stuck with them and found a much more affordable management company.

I’ve had a great experience working with Progressive Urban Property Management. Their team is professional, responsive, and easy to communicate with. They handle everything efficiently and make the entire process smooth and stress-free. I know that my experience with this company would have been better with a different property owner, but from the start, we had countless issues with repairs and communication in general. They consistently will ask you to leave five star reviews, which did not reflect my experience but I felt pressured into this many times as I did not want them retaliating. The main issue we had with them was a plumbing problem that rendered the shower unusable, and the communication was poor and it took a very long time for us to figure out why our shower wasn’t being fixed. We ended up moving out early and did not have a working shower for the last 2 weeks we were living at the property, and it became clear it was not going to be fixed in any timely manner. Later, after requesting the month’s rent back, we spoke with a representative who explained that the property owner was the one who was the source of the delay, and they could not get ahold of him. I give 2 stars because they did eventually make some effort to solve the problem, and did back us up in our complaints and tried to come to an agreement in our favor, but were unable to. However, at the end of the day, they are the ones who are responsible for keeping the property inhabitable, and they failed to do this. On top of this issue, we also had animals living in our roof that they could not get to leave, the house would not hold heat (would only heat to about 60 degrees and our energy bills were ridiculous), and communication was consistently poor. Again, I cannot speak for an experience for someone who has a more communicative property owner, but we have been incredibly frustrated in dealing with them and I am just happy to no longer be living at one of their properties. Edit: changing this to one star after being emailed to take this review down because it is “hurting their business”. This is so unprofessional.
